Yahallo! If you are new to Socionics please read this quick post and see how this theory can help you describe your personality type and mental cognition process, as well as your relation with other people by assigning yourself to one of the sixteen total types.

After knowing your type it is important to know more about the theory and you can begin by referring to the available articles on my site.
With some practice and studying, you can slowly begin to identify the types within the people around you and better understand their actions and motives.
Socionics is related to psychology and sociology, so if you are interested in it it won't take much time to know most concepts about it.
Well after all it is a personality type theory at the end of the day so the best way to view it is to see it as a sort of a game or a show that is immersive and exciting to know about. Discussing it with others that know about it well could also be entertaining and a great way to make friends and have fun.

As you can see, Socionics is in fact a pseudoscientific theory so NEVER COMPLETELY RELY ON IT. Aside from the caution, we should realize that the approach is helpful in determining your personality and cognition process types.
Now if you are still reading to this point, here is my advice for getting into the theory:
1) Treat it as a hobby, as soon as you begin to view it more seriously it gets less interesting and tiring
2) Take it slow, don't rush everything and there is no need for you to know everything in the theory within a week or two.
3) It usually takes at least half a year of casual but active studying anyways so have fun exploring it, also only go for the valid resources and not some memes or online crap.
