The P-POL’s Creed

We, the Political Science Students of the Holy Cross of Davao College, commit ourselves to become flexible, purposeful, and conscientious lifelong learners. We are dedicated to going beyond words, politics, and everything in between because we condemn what we do not know.

As future leaders and agents of social transformation, we devote our time to learn more so we can better understand the social, political, and economic forces of our civilization. We continually search for practical and beneficial ways to make our political society a better place for everyone.

As peacemakers and troubleshooters, we value the importance of respectful dialogue and responsible use of civil liberty to advance the best interests of our country. We believe that the inherent nature of tolerable conflict is an important force to bring about meaningful and desirable social changes.

As diligent citizens of the country and the world, we responsibly use our God-given potentials and acquired competencies to positively influence and inspire others. We are dedicated to bringing the rule of reason and sanity in a world of conflict and confusion.

As Holy Crossians and Brave Souls, we cultivate the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood by celebrating each other's success and by learning from our shortcomings in our collective endeavor to promote inclusion, amity, and unity.

As a community of Christ-centered evangelizers, we persistently strive to be virtuous and excellent in every endeavor we undertake, educated in the faith and animated by the passion for truth, and engaged in building a more humane world.
