Common Issues
Issue: Contacts not displaying on documents dropdown in PSSP
Fix: Contacts must have the received mailings flag set on the contact record in SIS for them to populate in PSSP
Export / Import in SIS to change in mass
From District Office > Choose ALL students > Click Importing & Exporting > Data Export Manager
Category: Show All
Export From: Contacts
Check off these fields to Export:
ContactID
LastName
studentNumber
contactReceivesMailings
contactHasCustody
Export
Filter by Has Custody
True
FalseAnyone that Has Custody should also have True in the Receives Mailing Column
File then needs to be saved as a .txt file for import.
Issue: Staff ID number showing on print version of documents in PSSP
Fix: PSSP staff have determined that the districts are printing documents which are opened for editing rather than in draft, which displays both the lookup values for staff (ID/Name). The users need to save the document, then print in draft form. If they are doing this to avoid draft watermark, PSSP support will be happy to assist in changing document behaviors so “draft” does not print. The correct procedure would be to finalize the document and print. If changes are required, then you can open the final and select More > Create a Revision of the document.
