Courses will archive 24-30 hours from the end of a Grading Period

Grading Period vs. Subperiod

Subperiods are nested under a Grading Period; they do not archive until the Grading Period ends

Teachers can view grades for each subperiod by filtering the view in their Gradebook

New Year, Fresh Start! Check out these tips for a smooth start with your Schoology courses here:

Drag and Drop: To give your courses a fresh, new look, the drag and drop ability with your course materials and folders comes in pretty handy. Here’s some use cases we recommend:

Hiding old course materials: Create a folder called “Previous Materials,” then drag and drop the folders and materials you want to hide inside this new folder. This way, grades associated with those materials are still visible in the gradebook for students.

Course Layout: Use the drag and drop feature to reorganize your Schoology course.
