who took part - There was a group of "The Friends of the Port Sunlight River Park" who undertook training provided by ASRAudio who specialise in oral history recording. Also the people and families who allowed to to record their memories. There where also other participants, An art project based on materials chosen to reflect the though away society that helped create the hill. Boas made of rags the colours reflecting the different environments found in the park.

The Friends of Port Sunlight River Park completed the project with financial support from HLF, creative help from Alison Bailey Smith and advice from members of the Oral History Society.
We interviewed residents of the area, users of the park and people who had been involved in the landfill to record memories and views of those who remember Bromborough Dock and have followed its journey from a place of refuse to the beautiful park set aside for environmental work and recreation purposes.
The recorded interviews will be available online and form the basis of the geo trail and trail leaflet.
