I believe that the purpose of education is to help students obtain the knowledge and discipline necessary to start their careers. Many students are certain about which career path they will be taking, which is why they gain knowledge from different subjects so that they can see what they prefer and start their journey there. The way the purpose of education translates into your discipline is that I am going to teach the students how being involved in physical activities can become beneficial for their bodily function and general health. Numerous activities such as sports or other physical activities are built around fitness so that they can become educational and captivating. I decided to choose education as my career path because I want to be able to teach students why living a healthy lifestyle is important so that they can understand the benefits they can gain from living a healthy lifestyle it will allow them to understand how they can benefit from it, with anticipation that it can be the motivation they need to improve their daily way of living.
I will enact my philosophy of education in my classroom by allowing the students to understand the beneficial reasons that they will obtain from having a healthy lifestyle because that is my main goal as a teacher. If they get a better understanding of it then it can become life-changing for them which is the reason I want to join the physical education team so that I can help students gain that understanding. When students attend my class, it will be one that they enjoy because I do not want them to feel miserable when they are in my class, I want them to enjoy it and look forward to going. As a physical education teacher, my students should expect daily class preparation, educating, and mentoring of students in an educational environment. Each class will consist of a variety of different activities and supply the students with a chance to grow and improve their communication and bodily expertise. They will gain the aspiration to acquire knowledge of new activities which can be either acquiring a different ability, maneuver, concept, or proposition of an activity.
I expect the students to participate in the course although there might be some that may not I will at least motivate them to give me minimal participation because I want them to enjoy their time in the class. I also want them to respect me and their classmates because that is an important part of the class if the students are not respectful then there are going to be problems that form. The way my students know what I expect from them is I will inform them by conveying my expectations for the class, lay involvement standards, and provide commentary or some way for the students to present me with constructive criticism. If I don't make it clear from the start then they will not understand my overall expectations. As a teacher, I will have to comprehensibly relay my expectation to the students with consideration to what I am expecting from the whether it involves a game or the overall period of the school year.
