Halloween Happening 🎃

Halloween Happening is PTSA's largest event and fundraiser of the year, featuring food, baked goods, carnival games, and more. This event takes place annually in late October. 

Staff Luncheons & Staff Appreciation Week 🍴

PTSA hosts two Staff Luncheons for the Ponderosa Elementary School & Preschool staff each year. Families may donate food and beverages to help treat our staff to a feast. PTSA also helps the Ponderosa community celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, which happens in the first full week of May each year. The next Staff Luncheon will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2026.

International Night 🎉

The Ponderosa community comes together to celebrate our rich diversity in this annual cultural celebration, featuring performances and food tasting. 

Family Science Night 🔎

Volunteers set up STEAM stations and experiments for students and families to enjoy at this fun, inclusive annual event.  PTSA is seeking a team of volunteers to help coordinate Ponderosa's 2027 Family Science Night. If you are interested in helping coordinate this event, please email us at ptsaponderosa@gmail.com.

Ice Cream Wednesdays 🍧

Weather-permitting, PTSA hosts ice cream and popsicle sales on select Wednesdays after school, from 1:21 to about 1:50PM. The ice cream sale happens on the north side of Room 3 on Ponderosa campus. We offer both dairy and non-dairy options.

Benefit Nights 🍕

About once per month, PTSA hosts dining fundraisers called Benefit Nights at local restaurants. A portion of each order is donated back to Ponderosa PTSA.

General Association Meetings 📋

Members of PTSA and the Ponderosa community are welcome to attend our three General Association meetings per year. At the G.A. meetings, PTSA presents information about our latest work and news. The first G.A. meeting of 2026-27 is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
