About PTSA

The mission of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Ponderosa PTSA is a volunteer-run organization that coordinates meetings, activities, and events to build school spirit and to support the Ponderosa school community.

Joining is your show of support for the school events and activities sponsored by the PTSA.

You can choose your level of participation in the PTSA. Come to a meeting, volunteer for an event, bring cupcakes for a bake sale, help in a classroom party, or simply attend a PTSA-sponsored event. 

PTSA plans and supports events such as:

• Halloween Happening

• Staff Luncheons & Staff Appreciation Week

• International Night 

• Cultural Assemblies

• Family Science Night

PTSA also supports academic enrichment programs such as the Science Fair, Library, and Computer Lab.

We encourage Ponderosa families to join either by filling out the pink membership form in your child's Welcome Packet or through the online membership platform.
