Procedure:
First you want to select the type of vase you want to use and then clean it out entirely just rinsed with water.
Then you want to fill your vase with water up to the neck then put half a pump of flower food if you have it in your water to make your flowers last longer.
Now you want to start by adding your greens which starts with the leatherleaf. You want to cut above the last two leaves so you get a nice leaf to stick in your water.
You want to repeat the last step for every leaf you cut and make sure you cross the stems in your water. Continue this until you have a good base.
Now use any leftover stems with leaves you have to fill in the vase more, add enough to the point where the leaves touch each other closely in the middle and if you add a flower it won't move.
Then you want to add your accent greenery, mine was eucalyptus. You will add this around where you think it's necessary under some of the leatherleaf so it blends in.
Now grab your roses and make sure you cut them short enough to fit inside of the arrangement but not too short so they poke up a bit through all the greenery.
Repeat the last step for all your roses making sure they aren't too close together and if any petals look black or gross tear them off so you have pretty roses.
Grab your filler flower, mine was baby's breath and start to fill in around the roses so they don't look like they are extremely poking out. Putting them where you think they would go nicely.
Now look over your arrangement seeing if you need to add more filler flower or more accent greenery to make your roses pop and if the answer is no then you're all done with your arrangement!
