Fighting pokémon

Fighting Pokémon are often based on martial artists and are very strong and muscular. They are very good offensive Pokémon with most of their moves in the Physical category. Fighting Pokémon are super-effective against Normal, Ice, Rock, Dark, and Steel pokemon, while being very ineffective or having no effect on Poison, Flying, Psychic, Bug and Ghost Pokémon. Flying and Psychic Pokémon are super-effective against Fighting types and Bug, Rock, and Dark Pokémon are not very effective. With only 64 total Pokémon in this type, they make up one of the smallest types out of them all.

Makuhita - Hariyama

Makuhita and Hariyama Pokémon are constantly training in caves and mountains to become stronger. Makuhita's often have broken trees and smashed rocks around where they live, and eat and sleep to pack on more pounds and evolve. The Hariyama's arm thrust could snap a telephone pole in two or send a 10-ton truck flying.

Machop and its evolved forms Machoke and Machamp

Machop - Machoke - Machamp

This family of Pokémon is constantly training as well. A Machop is able to hurl an adult human and will lift boulders and Graveler Pokémon as though they were dumbbells to strengthen. Machoke are often found employed in urban areas doing manual labor. Once evolved, Machamp have mastered every form of martial arts. They can throw 1000 punches in a few seconds and can move mountains with one hand. They cannot handle delicate work though, as their arms will get tangled.

Timburr and its evolved forms Gurdurr and Conkeldurr

Timburr - Gurdurr - Conkeldurr

Timburrs are always seen with a block of wood on them and often work helping construction workers. They evolve into Gurdurr when they can easily lift heavy blocks. Gurdurr is so strong that it would not budge if attacked by a group of professional wrestlers and often boasts about its muscles while carrying a steel frame. Conkeldurr is believed to have taught humans how to create concrete 2000 years ago, and also works around construction sites.

Rock Pokémon usually have a high defense, but many Rock types are dual Ground types which means they have a 4x weakness to both Grass and Water types. Rock moves are super-effective against Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug types, but are not very effective against Fighting, Ground, and Steel types. Normal, Fire, Poison, and Flying type are not very effective against Rock Pokémon, but Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steal Pokémon are super-effective against them. With 75 Pokémon in this type, they are also a smaller subsection of Pokémon.

Geodude and its evolution forms Graveler and Golem

All of these Pokémon are made completely of rock. Geodudes are often stepped on by trainers not realizing it is a Pokémon, and when they sleep they will bury their bodies into the ground and not wake up even if another Pokémon tries to fight them. Geodude and Graveler can both levitate their body's and all three can use moves like Earthquake. These Pokémon like to roll down mountains so grooves are dug into the sides of them to divert rolling Golem so that they don't destroy the houses below.

Roggenrola - Boldore - Gigalith

Roggenrola may look like it has a hexagonal eye in the middle, but it is actually an ear. Even after transforming into Boldore, the two yellow octagonal shapes are it's ears. It is not until the Pokémon has evolved into Gigalith that there are then two red eyes in the middle of its yellow ears. They can hear things inaudible to humans and are so hard that they were once thought to actually be Steel-typed Pokémon.

Cranidos - Rampardos

These Pokémon are physically based on the Pachycephalosaurus dinosaur. Both Cranidos and Rampardos headbutt to catch their prey and train to be stronger by headbutting trees and anything else that may be in their path. A Rampardos' territory is often clear due to the surrounding trees often being bulldozed away as it got excited or angry. Both Pokémon originally lived in dense forests, but they have been extinct from the wild for 100 million years. They only exist now by being cloned from Fossil samples, and being the descendants of those clones.
