Fire Pokémon are one of the three starter types along with Water and Grass. Fire Pokémon are notoriously rare in early stages of the game so choosing a Fire Pokémon at the start can sometimes have an advantage because of that. Fire moves are super-effective against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel Pokémon and are not very effective against Water, Rock, and Dragon Pokémon. Fire Pokémon are also not very effective against each other. Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel Pokémon are all not very effective against Fire types, while Water, Ground, and Rock are super-effective. There are 82 Fire type Pokemon and some of them are studied below.
Ponyta and Rapidash are horse like Pokémon that have flames instead of tails and both will let trainers ride them if they trust them. If the trainers anger them though, they have been known to burn them. When Ponyta are born they have weak legs, but within an hour they are running and their flaming tail and mane grow out. Their hooves are 10x harder than diamonds and because of how strong they are they are known to be able to jump over buildings. Rapidash can reach speeds of up to 150 mph.
Darumaka have a flame inside of their body that will make them really active when it is burning, and when the fire has dimmed, it will fall asleep. While sleeping they will slightly sway, but cannot be toppled over by anyone. Darmanitan can destroy a dump truck with a single punch and are now very strong. When their HP is halved though, they have an alternative Zen mode where they turn blue and become completely immobile. In this mode, they become a fire/psychic type, their defense doubles, and their Special Attack increases so they are able to ward off enemies with their Psychic powers. They can use their Psychic powers to gather and eat food.
Magby can breath out 1100-degree Fahrenheit flames and you can tell the status of their health based on how smoky their flames are. Magmar are strong fire Pokémon that have impressive physical abilities and a well-trained Magmar can learn to become immune to electric attacks. They can be very violent and treacherous and will burn down cold areas in order to heat the area up. Magmortar can blast out fireballs of up to 3,600 °F.

Electric Pokémon are often based on rodents or inanimate objects, and are extremely good defensively, as they are only really weak to Ground type Pokémon. Eelektross is one of three Pokémon to have no weaknesses as it has the ability to levitate as well so Ground type moves don't affect it. Electric moves are super-effective against Water and Flying Pokémon, but not very effective against Grass and Dragon types, and aren't effective against each other. Electric moves have no effect on Ground or Rock Pokémon, while Ground and Rock types are super-effective against Electric. Flying and Steel are also not very effective against Electric Pokémon. Some of the 72 Electric Type Pokemon are listed below:
Elekid are often found playing out in thunderstorms, but tire easily so they cannot charge a lot. Electabuzz are found around power plants and strive to be struck by lightning. They hate the color red and will go on rampages at the sight of it. Electrivire usually feed off of electric currants, but have been known to eat berries and fruit on occasion.
The fur of Shinx can glow brightly so that it will blind its predators and be able to escape if needed. Luxio communicate using electric pulses that they send out through their paws, and Luxray have such incredible eyesight that they can see through some walls. Luxray are generally independent creatures, but can be extremely loyal if they are given enough praise and compassion by their Trainers. All of these Pokémon are found in grassy plains and hunt in packs.
Blitzle Pokémon store electricity in their mane and will catch lightning to charge it. They communicate by making their manes light up. Zebstrika is full of explosive power that is comparable to lightning. When running at full speed, a thunderous roar can be heard. They are more violent in nature than Blitzle and will release sparks from its mane when angered. Both Blitzle and Zebstrika Pokémon are herbivores.
