Arcanor

Arcanor is a mighty city-state sat in the very center of the continent. It is one of the few civilizations that was rebuilt after the Cataclysm. It sits in the only valley in the Central Divide, therefor putting it in the center of business between the east and west halves of the continent. It is geographically well defended with tall mountains to the north and south, a dense forest with many crevices to the east, and a series of defensible hills to the west with only a wall needed for fortifications. The state itself is made of multiple cities with large-scale rural farms in-between, with its capital sitting right against the northern mountains.
