Nathan Abra

Nathan is a shiny Abra, a rare example of his species and Pokemon in general. Beyond his extremely rare skin color, he is rather average in terms of appearance; his height and weight are on par with his species. He wears a leather tunic for physical protection and wields a shortbow created in ancient times. His bow, designed to be used by a psychic, can create arrows out of nothing using his psionic powers.

He is extremely introverted and tries his best to keep to himself. His interests begin and end with the study of precursor races. He is therefor very well educated. He has a habit of quoting random trivia appropriate to his location or situation. Showing an interest in ancient civilizations is the best way to get Nathan to open up. His extensive studies make him an effective strategist, making him a valuable member of any team. His psychic abilities also allow mental communication between members of his team. He lacks combat prowess, however, and is extremely hesitant to help out in a fight.

History is Nathan's favorite subject and he loves both studying and discussing it. The rich history of Statera pre-Cataclysm leaves him spoiled for choice in what to study, but he primarily focuses on the relations between the ancient nations. He is also very logical, almost to a fault. He calculates the odds of everything and rarely allows himself to get in a risky situation. He also has a habit of quoting trivia. Being as introverted as he is, Nathan really dislikes attention. If too many Pokemon try to interact with him all at once, he'll teleport into hiding. He also rarely speaks, preferring telepathy. He also dislikes ignorance, either of his own or of others. In either case, he'll attempt to use education to rectify the matter. Amusingly, he dislikes being surprised or woken from sleep so much that he'll instinctively attack whoever's responsible.

He hails from the Playa desert, born to an average family working in agriculture. Upon discovering his fascination with the ancient world, he joined the Exploration Guilds in the hopes of discovering ancient secrets.

Being an introverted Pokemon, he prefers engaging in combat as little as possible. It doesn't help that he is extremely frail, able to take a few hits at best. His fighting style therefor is extremely evasive, relying on his bow to strike his foes from a distance.

Teleport: Nathan heavily relies on this move, both for evasion and for escape. Finding a vantage point to snipe enemies from is extremely easy thanks to this move. It also is helpful for scouting ahead.

Protect: Being such a defensive Pokemon, Nathan uses this move to defend from unavoidable attacks. He prefers teleporting away as opposed to this move, but he can use it to protect a friend in very close quarters.
