Layron is a gigantic example of his species, three times larger than a normal Helioptile. He is extremely old and possesses immortality due to a failed experiment with tachyons. Since Helioptiles never stop growing until their evolution, he has gotten increasingly large over the eons but uses magic to keep himself from getting any larger. His eyes are hetero-chromatic, the vision in his right eye partially faded.
He is the epitome of madness, possessing a strange way of logic that is both convoluted and weirdly effective. He is consequently very silly, spontaneous, and has a lot of weird talents. His madness gives way to creativity on an astounding level. Layron is very empathetic, offering his friendship to anybody who needs him. This is especially the case with Mithora, but applies to a lot of other Pokemon. If his friends are sad, he'll typically use his "lol random" humor to cheer them up.
Layron's wild variation makes his preferences hard to pin down. It is most thoroughly understood that he likes having and making friends and dislikes conflicts between Pokemon. Often, he will try to distract other Pokemon from conflict with his strange humor or his talents. Of the talents he's known to have, the most prominent of them is engineering and cooking.
Nobody knows where he came from; he was born before the Cataclysm and survived up to this day, meaning he is at least 12 thousand years old. He serves the royal family of Domina as Princess Mithora's attendant.
Layron's size gives him a lot of strength. He's turned out to be a skilled fighter thanks to eons of experience. He has no clearly defined style due to his madness, but his constantly changing methods usually fit a situation.
Parabolic Charge - an area-of-effect attack which drains energy out of his foes. Because of his size, the range and power of the attack is boosted. This attack is based on contact with the ground, so he does not use this attack if any of his allies are on the ground.
Quick Attack - The one disadvantage of Layron's size is his lack of speed (and the fact that he can't fall far without breaking something). This move is his way around this problem, allowing him to get a free hit on a swift foe.
Bulldoze - Layron's strongest move, this mode is made all the more effective thanks to Layron's size. Because it affects everyone around him, he doesn't use this move if any of his allies are on the ground. It has the added benefit of tripping up/slowing down evasive enemies
Electricy - A self-defense technique Layron developed to defend against strong attacks by making their typing match his own. Involves pouring charge into a Pokemon, so it requires a lot of energy on his part.
