Seeing is Believing
A Journey of Microscopy Researcher
BIOGRAPHY
I am Po-Yi Lee (李柏逸), a Postdoctoral Associate specializing in optical imaging and image analysis. I have a strong interest in developing advanced imaging techniques and driving innovation in biomedicine.
In 2014, I completed my B.Sc. degree at National Tsing Hua University, and in 2016, I obtained my M.Sc. degree from National Taiwan University, with a specific focus on photoacoustic imaging.
In 2017-18, I acted as a research assistant at Academia Sinica, where I worked on image visualization, processing, and analysis for lattice light-sheet microscopy applications.
Recently, I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, where I conducted research in the Ocular Biomechanics Lab. My doctoral work involved developing optical imaging techniques, like polarized light microscopy, to visualize and quantify collagen fiber architecture and biomechanics, contributing to a better understanding of ocular diseases.
