Rainbow Path: Our UU Principles (Kindergarten - Grade 2)

We are so excited to bring back the Rainbow Path week of Camp!

In this week of camp, we'll use the colors of the rainbow, art, and music to explore our Unitarian Universalist principles. Over the course of our week together, children will create self-portraits, use tissue and wax paper to create 'stained glass,' make handprint doves, and more! Children will learn favorite Unitarian Universalist hymns, like "Spirit of Life," and "Love Will Guide Us."

Schedule

Rainbow Path will run from August 16-20, 2021, with three sessions per day (exact times TBD). There'll be a combination of on and offline activities, with no more than 2 hours online per day.

Materials:

Each child will receive a "Camp Kit" from their local religious education, which will contain most of the supplies they'll need. But there're a few things we hope you already have:

  • Device with internet connection and webcam

  • Paper

  • Markers or crayons

  • Mirror

  • glue

  • Scissors

  • Skewer stick

  • Oven and cookie sheet

  • Wildlife magazines/calendars

If you need help getting any of these supplies, please contact your local Director of Religious Education.

Registration for the Rainbow Path will close August 1, 2021.
