The ability to do medication calculations confidently and accurately is exceptionally important for nurses. In order to do this, Seneca's PND Program has created a mastery approach to increase your confidence and your accuracy!
Semester 2
Semester 2
PNC220 Medication Administration Math Mastery Quizzes. Students are required to achieve 80% on ONE quiz in order to be successful in PNC 220. Given that the goal is mastery, you will be able to attempt the quiz multiple times until you have MASTERED the content with an 80% grade.
It is expected that if you have challenges in math or are not successful in your first write, that you will seek support.
There is support in the Seneca College Learning Centre as well as by utilizing the Medication Mathematics Website linked here in your handbook.
Semester 3
Semester 3
PNC320 Medication Administration Math Mastery Quizzes. Students are required to achieve 90% on ONE quiz in order to be successful in PNC 320. Given that the goal is mastery, you will be able to attempt the quiz multiple times until you have MASTERED the content with an 90% grade.
It is expected that if you have challenges in math or are not successful in your first write, that you will seek support.
There is support in the Seneca College Learning Centre as well as by utilizing the Medication Mathematics Website linked here in your handbook.

PNC420 Medication Administration Math Mastery Quizzes. Students are required to achieve 95% on ONE quiz in order to be successful in PNC 420. Given that the goal is mastery, you will be able to attempt the quiz multiple times until you have MASTERED the content with an 95% grade.
It is expected that if you have challenges in math or are not successful in your first write, that you will seek support.

Semester 5
Semester 5
PNC520 Medication Administration Math Mastery Quizzes. Students are required to achieve 100% on ONE quiz in order to be successful in PNC 520. Given that the goal is mastery, you will be able to attempt the quiz multiple times until you have MASTERED the content with an 100% grade.
It is expected that if you have challenges in math or are not successful in your first write, that you will seek support.
