My second goal was to become more efficient using educational technology software to provide learning for a student in grade two with Down’s Syndrome, in school and possibly through the online learning platform. The timeline was long enough to realize the goal as I had developed a reasonable fluency at developing activities on the software. I found it helpful to review the software with both the Resource Team and the other ERW’s, as I was able to generate more ideas and learn to use the tool quickly with their help. The collaboration with other team members, helped to secure ongoing support of the activities I created using Boardmaker, through online learning. The obstacles involved during the process were interrupted internet (rarely a concern) and the student not accessing the activities on a consistent basis. As an EA, understanding how to use educational technology can provide students a richer education as it employs universal design for learning.

This is not set up in the exact spot or proper set as when the student was at school and is soley pictured to show aspects of his formal set-up for seatwork in the classroom. Also pictured is a choice bin equipped with pics to pull and add to a "I am working for...." card.
