Art name "Quartet" : Mixed media,
this art piece is created with 4 different art pieces and techniques.
Top left: "Mars from above", created with a base of a plastic bottle.
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second-smallest planet in the Solar System, being larger than only Mercury. In English, Mars carries the name of the Roman god of war and is often referred to as the "Red Planet". That's why the red is the hero of this painting.
Top right: "Maori Earth", add texture to the art piece with a personalized stencil.
In Māori tradition, Papatūānuku is the land. She is a mother earth figure who gives birth to all things, including people. I expressed it with my color choices.
Bottom left: "Golden Road", mixed media combined with marker.
Golden road is a road where you can travel to the real or to the fake path. Which way do you prefer to go? The shiney or the real?!
Bottom right: "Moon Walk", created with mixed media and silicone.
Luna so called Moon, is Earth's only natural satellite. In this art piece we are walking in an atmosphere where there is no gravity.
Can you guess what connects all the art pieces together?
This art piece is a straight pour, combined with a roller and gold leafs. The medium is acrylic with fluetrol.
It shows how everything is submerged, something happened in the past and is no longer important or worth arguing . The gold flakes are the future who is the important part to concentrate and look forward to. The message of this art piece is: "Concentrate on what's important!"
Acrylic pour on canvas,
This art piece I created with an unusual household item. The item is a cookie cutter that controls the flow of the pouring medium. As composition I used bright and metallic colours that creates a galaxy. The galaxy is a gravitationally bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter. The word is derived from the Greek galaxias, literally "milky", a reference to the Milky Way ( the white color emphasize it). Had a lot of fun making this art piece. Isn't that the whole point!
