PLMC together with TrueLove.is will be conducting a Faith & Sexuality Forum right here in PLMC as we seek to learn and to understand together in engaging and creating a safe space with loved ones who identifies as LGBTQ. 

Come and join us as we discuss:

• How to speak to my children about LGBTQ issues

• Speaking and/or ministering with someone who has SSA

• What is Conversation Therapy and its effects

• 377A and how it affects us

• How to engage loved ones who identifies as LGBTQ

• How a church can be safe place for those struggling with SSA

All PLMC members and worshipers are welcome to join. Entrance to this Forum is strictly by registration only.

Dear Members of PLMC WSCS,

Notice is hereby given that the 87th Annual General Meeting of Paya Lebar Methodist Church - Women’s Society of Christian Service has been called by the Executive Committee to be held on Saturday, 2nd September 2023 from 8.30am to 11.30am at the Gabriel and Haven Rooms, Paya Lebar Methodist Church.

The 87th WSCS AGM, will be held to transact the following business:

(1) Receive the reports of the Executive Committee Officers

(2) To adopt the Audited Treasurer’s Report

(3) To elect the delegates and reserves to attend TRAC WSCS 48th & 49th AGM

(4) Any Other Business

Rev Irene Thung is an ordained minister of The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS). Irene enjoyed a rewarding career for over twenty years as a lecturer and entrepreneur in the building industry before responding to God’s call. Irene loves preaching and teaching the Word of God. After serving many years as a local church pastor, she served as the Director of TRAC Seniors Ministry for several years before fully retiring in 2022.
