John Wesley’s class meeting was a model for many present-day cell churches and ministries.  The principles and practices of the early class meeting still have relevance for us today.  This course will follow closely the book by Kevin Watson on “The Class Meeting: Reclaiming a Forgotten (and Essential) Small Group Experience.”  The course will look briefly at the history and theology of small groups.  More time will be given to the practices, which will include group discussion, as a way of practicing some of the principles.

In this Lent season, come away to have a quiet day with the Lord in prayer. You will be guided into a time of listening and contemplating on Jesus in His humanity. As we embarked on 2023 a Year of empowerment, you can be empowered by an interactive course designed to educate, inspire and challenge us to become a people called to be a blessing to the nations.

It will be a hybrid course utilizing a variety of learning methods including onsite/online group discussions, short lecture introduction, devotions, video teaching and student participation in specially designed activities.

MOTHERHOOD IS HARD. To the mothers with young children, do you feel a sense of heaviness, and a need for your motherhood burdens to be lifted? A need for less to be on your plate, less on your mind, less on your heart? The WSCS presents Risen Moms ministry, a community of mothers to provide support based on biblical truth, no matter how you feel about motherhood. It is for the imperfect mother, still learning, still growing, and still recognising she does not have it all together, but we serve a God who does. 

Join Season Five of Risen Moms, as we come together to encourage, equip and challenge moms to apply the biblical truths to their everyday lives.
