PRAYER FOCUS

40 Days of Prayer (40DOP)

Have you joined us for the 40 Days of Prayer? If you haven’t, it’s not too late. The 40-day devotional to help us with our prayer and devotional life during Lent is posted on PLMC TODAY every Saturday from 25 Feb to 9 Apr.

We also had an amazing, Spirit-filled time of prayer and worship this past Wed, and we will come together as a church to pray every Wed in Mar, 8pm, Sanctuary. Come be empowered and host the presence of God!

Click HERE to view and download the Devotions.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Silver Boxes

1. We thank God for the 3 children who accepted the Lord on 19 February. We pray for more children to open their hearts to Jesus and follow Him.

2. Pray for the Zone 2 children and leaders as we set off for our Zoo Outing (for the 4-year-olds to Primary 1) on Sun 5 Mar afternoon. May the Lord bless us with good weather and a good bonding time together, admiring God's creation.

3. Pray for our upcoming plans for Easter. May the Lord continue to lead the teams and may each child bring their friends to Silver Boxes to hear the resurrection message.

Sonshine Kids

1. We thank God for each new child that the Lord brings to Sonshine Kids and we pray for them to encounter His love and joy.

2. Pray for our upcoming Easter programme that is packed with fun and for the children to open their hearts to say "Yes" to Jesus.

DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE

Take time to pray for Bishop Emeritus Wee Boon Hup as he teaches us in this 4-session course, starting from 18 Mar, that God will fill him with His anointing and wisdom. Pray also for the participants to have open hearts, to be empowered and obedient to the Holy Spirit’s prompting.

Give thanks for the ongoing and engaging participation of those who are joining these courses, always praying that their faith to be established, their hearts to be strengthened, and their discipleship journey to be encouraged, through this learning community.

May we take this period in Lent to be reminded of His love for us, and to respond to Him in total surrender and faithful discipleship. Let us pray for God to speak to us personally as we read and ponder over the 40 Days of Prayer Devotional as a Church family, as well as to wait and intercede with others.
