“Have a Meal on PLMC” aims to bless the hawkers in our community. Pray during the week about who God is leading you to bless with a meal. And then collect the vouchers at the office reception during our office hours while stocks last.

Missions Prayer List (August 2022)
South East Asia
1. BL
1.1 Pray that the TESOL programme will be made available to many other believers, to do training to expand its reach. Pray that God will select His chosen ones to do this.
1.2 Pray for BL to have the strength and wisdom to manage serving their 2 widowed mothers who are living alone.
2. Boonchiaw
2.1 Pray for God’s strength and anointing on Boonchiaw as he will be conducting discipleship classes and also ministers to the people, both in God is Good Church, in Chonburi and Beung Kan, Thailand, in his Mission trip from August to September 2022.
2.2 Pray for Boonchiaw to have good health and journey mercies as he travels between the two churches and visits the members in Central and North East Thailand.
Parachurch Workers
1. Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Singapore: Siah May Lan
1.1 Pray for God's continued healing on May Lan’s mother’s knee and her stomach cancer. Pray for her appetite to improve so that she can resume chemo treatment.
1.2 Pray for God's guidance and wisdom on May Lan, in choosing an appropriate course and also approval for her sabbatical plans in 2023. Also pray for an opportunity to go for an overseas retreat course in UK, end of November 2022.
1.3 Pray for God's wisdom to build and sustain the small group of Art students and raise new leaders in the NAFA/Lasalle CF group; and, for concrete strategies and monetary resources in ministry outreach & forming a Christian fellowship in ITE East and West campus.
2. Navigators Singapore: Roger Yeo
2.1 Pray for J, B, QG, WD, E, A, and S that the Holy Spirit would speak to their hearts about the love of Jesus Christ and what He has done for them. Pray that they will experience God’s love to take the step of faith of discipleship, as they explore the Christian faith in their bible fellowship together.
2.2 Pray for the Servant Leaders meeting on 23 August, that the leaders including Roger and Pearlyn, will be refreshed in the Lord. Pray for much wisdom and guidance in their planning and discussions.
3. Wycliffe Singapore: Grace Tan
3.1 Pray for Grace who is writing her MA Thesis that is due in September that she will do a good job on it and hand it in on time.
3.2 Pray for Grace’s sister to grow stronger after being on sick leave for a long time and that she will flourish in her job. Pray for Grace’s brother, Russel, whose tremors are getting less with the new medication. Pray for his general health and wellbeing.
4. YWAM Singapore: Beatrice Wee
4.1 Pray for Beatrice that she will be refreshed and rejuvenated during this season of her sabbatical, and also in her discernment of the Lord’s leading in her ministry.
4.2 Pray for spiritual breakthroughs so that Beatrice will experience God’s grace, mercy and strength to carry her through the challenges that she is currently facing.
Missions Partners
1. East Asia: TK
1.1 Pray for TK and the campus teams that they will be effective in engaging and befriending seekers at the three colleges and for wisdom to share the gospel and disciple them. Pray for students to be open and responsive to the gospel.
1.2 Pray for God’s provision to meet the financial needs of TK’s family.
2. South Asia: GEMS
2.1 Pray for the GEMS staff and pastors to continue to stand firm in faith and to serve the Lord faithfully amid persecution and the current pandemic situation.
2.2 Thanksgiving to God for His provision for GEMS to continue the feeding programme reaching out to the 200-300 poor people with warm food each weekend.
2.3 Pray for the new batch of Bible School students who just graduated in August 2022 that they will continue with spiritual fervour to reach out to the villagers in their community with the love of Christ and the message of God’s hope and salvation.
3. East Asia: Songs
3.1 Pray for both Joseph and Susan to have good health as they continue to serve God faithfully.
3.2 Pray for God’s protection and grace on the two TAN-NW brothers who are being questioned for missions-related training and may the Lord grant them divine wisdom and grace to them.
4. Central Asia: C&M
4.1 Pray for C&M and their children to experience God’s continual love, peace, presence and protection in the restrictive country that they are currently serving in where the Christian community is small and scattered.
4.2 Pray for the work in A-land that C&M and other Christians will have the wisdom and strength to meet the "man of peace” (pre-believers who are seeking Christ) in the cities they are serving in that more will come to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and be true disciples.
4.3 Pray for their financial support so that they will have the funds to carry out the work of the ministry and also for the children’s educational needs.

Ministry Executive, Family Life Ministry
Job Overview
Reporting to their immediate supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for designing and executing the church Family Life Ministry programmes in PLMC.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Pastoral team, the FLM Committee and relevant ministries (such as Youth Ministry and Glowing Years Ministry) to strengthen family and marriage relationships, equip parents/grandparents to raise godly children/grandchildren, and champion biblical singlehood and dating in PLMC
Plan for leadership continuity with his/her immediate supervisor
Recruit and deploy volunteers to plan and execute FLM strategies and programmes
Plan, coordinate and lead ministry programmes in partnership with the volunteers
Assist and support all FLM related initiatives/programmes, including being the liaison person between the church office and the volunteers
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the family life ministry scene e.g. new programmes, resources
Provide pastoral care and guidance to FLM leaders
Assist in the review and preparation of an annual budget to support the various FLM programmes
Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-In-Charge
Requirements
Theological degree or relevant experience
A genuine interest in family life matters and people, and a strong passion for working towards strengthening families, marriages, singles, and parents
Proven leadership with strong verbal and written skills
Proficiency in events organisation and management

SANCTUARY LEVEL 1 TOILET RENOVATIONS
Renovation works on the Level 1 Sanctuary Toilets will begin on Mon 15 Aug and are expected to be completed by the middle of November. Worshippers may use the Sanctuary toilets on levels 2, 3 and 4 or those on levels 2, 3 and 4 of the Covenant Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
STREAMLINING OF RESTRICTIONS FOR ONSITE SERVICES
The Mandarin, Youth, Filipino and Peranakan Services do not require Safe Entry Check-Ins. However, VDS applies to the English Services as the capacity of the Sanctuary exceeds 500, and so Safe Entry Check-Ins are required, so please bring along your TraceTogether app or token.
Mask wearing still continue. All worshippers must be fully vaccinated or show proof of exemption.
Worshippers to the 9am English Service are strongly urged to leave the church premises and car park as soon as they are dismissed to make way for worshippers attending the 11.15am English and Mandarin Services.
