PRAYER FOCUS

CORPORATE PRAYER POINTERS

PLMC Prayer Concerns

PLMC Conference: Generations Unbroken 16-19 June

Pray:

  • For the Conference committee members to be inspired by God and hear Him in the midst of their planning and preparations.

  • For the Conference attendees to catch the spirit and theme of the Conference and act on them as directed by God.

  • Pray that despite the relaxing of SMMs, many will still be convicted to sign-up for the Conference instead of choosing to go on holiday. Pray for the Holy Spirit to motivate our congregations to put this over other priorities in their lives and for Holy Spirit to prepare the participants’ hearts for His work in them.

  • Pray that our guest speakers and volunteers will be in good health for the preparation of and actual Conference.

Encountering God during Holy Week Services

Pray:

  • Members and Seekers will encounter God through the various services of PLMC, whether on-site or online. The presence of God is manifested by Holy Spirit, and people are touched by God’s power and love.

  • The good news of Jesus Christ is clearly and boldly shared, and seekers receive the good news with gladness and with a decision to follow Jesus.

  • The church team: Greatly used by God. Anointed to minister. Good health and God’s provision for personal/family needs. God will bond and unite the church team even more through their serving.

  • May each encounter with God make us see Jesus more clearly, follow Him more nearly and love Him more dearly. All glory be to Jesus !

Disciple-making Church

Pray :

  • Every member of PLMC will be a disciple and disciple-maker for Jesus Christ. God’s conviction upon our hearts to make this a serious commitment as part of our Christian walk of faith.

  • Our Discipleship and Nurture Ministry and church leadership will continue to flesh out an effective discipleship road map for the church. For God’s leading on direction, equipping, programmes, resources, etc.

  • More and more worshippers to be members of a Cell Group, as the Cell is the major platform whereby many discipleship processes and transformations happen, through personal relationships and intentional mentoring.

  • God will bless our disciple-making efforts with spiritual growth and fruits. Faith target: every member is an active disciple-maker for Jesus.

World Prayer Concerns

Ukraine-Russia War

Pray :

  • For ceasefire so that human sufferings, injuries and deaths will not escalate. For wise peacemakers to arise and mediate.

  • Civilians be protected from war crimes and murder. Protection especially upon the women and children from evil syndicates hoping to do human-trafficking of these powerless and helpless ones.

  • For the spirit of lawlessness, violence and hatred be bound by God.

  • Revival upon God’s churches and Christians in Ukraine: to be God’s light of hope in the midst of darkness; to be God’s comfort and shelter to victims and the families; to be God’s channel of forgiving love to their enemies.
