1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 exhorts us to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 

So let us come together as one big family to seek first the kingdom of God at our corporate prayer meeting on 6 Oct. The Prayer Meeting will be on Zoom from 8pm to 9pm. Registration closes 5 Oct, 6pm.

The Methodist Church in Singapore usually observes Laity Sunday on the second Sunday in October. As we here at PLMC have many lay ministries for you to serve in, we are observing Laity Month instead. Each week, a few ministries will be featured on PLMC TODAY to showcase what they do, and where you can participate in. Today, we showcase the Children’s Ministry and Outreach.

Have you ever felt that you have a calling in your life for full-time ministry and you are not sure if you heard correctly or just didn’t know how to go about confirming and/or even processing it? 

The past few years at PLMC, we take joy in journeying with some individuals and help in the discerning process.  Through the journeying, we realised that there were more individuals who weren’t sure or just didn’t know who to share their calling with. 

If you are considering entering full-time ministry, we are inviting you to join a Life Service Retreat, so that we can journey with you and help discern God’s call in your life.

The Life Retreat will be held:

• Date: Saturday, 16 Oct, 9am to 4 pm

• Venue: Covenant Chapel, PLMC

• Fee: Free of charge

• Closing Date: Monday, 11 Oct 2021 (noon)

We praise and thank God for the new Sanctuary lift that was dedicated on 25 Sep 2021. Please note that this new lift only serves levels 1, 2 & 3 of the Sanctuary, and you will need to walk up the stairs to the Mezzanine on level 4. Hence, wheelchair users, those with mobility problems or parents with strollers are advised to worship at the Sanctuary level by taking the lift to Level 2.
