1. We thank God for how the children who attended Camp Discovery (6-8 Sep) were inspired to learn God's Word and encounter Him.
2. We praise God for being able to be onsite at Church for a few weeks before the government restrictions were implemented, and we have to return online until the government allows us to resume onsite classes. We also thank God for keeping us safe from Covid during this time.
3. Pray for the Primary 6 students to be protected from Covid and that they will experience God in these stressful times.
4. Pray for our upcoming Children's Day on 10 October, which is going to be held online. We thank God for the Young Adult planning team as they dish out the Games to play with the children.
Sonshine Kids
1. We thank God that we had a great time with the children and leaders on 4 Sep, celebrating Teacher's Day.
2. We pray for the children who are taking their PSLE at the end of September, and for each of them to experience God in a real and tangible way.
3. Pray for our upcoming plans for Children's Day which will be postponed to 6 November.
DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE
Baptism & Membership Class – Pray for all the participants that it will be time of deeper learning and encountering God in the teaching sessions, group discussions, inner healing time and Holy Spirit ministry.
Revelation and End-time Course - Praise God for the encouraging sign up. Pray that all the participants will have an open and teachable heart, as they learn and apply God’s truth in this area. Pray for God’s anointing and protection to be upon Rev Dr Tony Siew as he shares God’s Word with boldness and grace.
Alpha, Disciple One & Three Courses – Pray for all the participants and facilitators to grow deeper in Word, Spirit and Community through the sessions.
Pray for more volunteers to come forward to serve at the Filipino Service as the Filipino Service resumes on a weekly basis from October 2021 except on the first Sunday of the month when we combine with the English Service.
Pray for our Filipino community to have the opportunity to attend Filipino Service and for their employers to release them to do so.
Pray for the physical & mental health of our Filipino community and their employers.
Please pray for our youths/children as they sit for their exams for God’s shalom peace to guard their minds and hearts during such a season. Pray that they will all be kept safe and healthy and that they will be able to concentrate and complete their exams in the best possible manner within their circumstances.
Pray that our young will turn their eyes to God for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There are many things around today that will want to steal their affection and their attention but even so, may they always have the number one thing their heart desires and that is God Himself.
Pray for our young adults balancing between their university exam/term paper submission and ministry involvement.
Pray for our young adults who are involved with our Silver Boxes programme this month. Let us cover the programme in prayer.
Pray for our young adult cell groups as they continue to meet online to grow in their fellowship, spur one another on in their faith.
Pray that more mature God-loving adults will step up to nurture and build into the lives of the YAs.

The end goal of Care Hub is pastoral care, for someone to journey with them and remind them they are beloved of God and to find strength in God to face the challenges.
As each individual has different needs, Care Hub serves as a one-stop helpline where an individual can obtain support in the church in various areas. If you have been affected by this crisis, Care Hub is here to support you.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to be a worshipper at PLMC to obtain help for Care Hub?
As long as you have been worshipping with us, either on-site or online, you are welcome to obtain help from Care Hub. We seek to journey with you as a family of faith during, and beyond, the COVID-19 period.
2. Is it compulsory for a Care Befriender to journey with me?
Yes, it is. We are not designed to journey alone. The church is the Body of Christ and each of us is a part of the body. Having a Care Befriender in this journey is to experience the community and interdependence of our Triune God. God is never alone; we need others too.
3. How long will the Care Befriender journey with me?
Each person has a different journey. Each journey is unique. In general, the Care Befriender will journey with you 3 – 6 months. Let these be a meaningful journey of deepening in God through the company of another.
4. Can I request for pastor to be my spiritual mentor/counsellor?
Yes, you can make the request, but we are all called to be a priesthood of believers hence most likely a mature believer will be assigned to journey with you. Trust that it is God’s hand that has led you thus far, and He will ensure that you are mentored or counselled by the right person with the necessary spiritual gifts for you.
5. I am not affected by COVID-19 but I need someone to talk to. Do I send my request through Care Hub?
No, Care Hub specifically caters to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications. Please contact the relevant ministry that caters to your need directly. Contact details can be found at the end of this site, under ‘Our Ministries’.
The PLMC Inner Healing Ministry helps individuals get to the root of things that are hindering their personal connection with God. This Ministry continues online every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. Email requests to plihm@plmc.org
