Silver Boxes Goes Online

The Children’s Ministry Silver Boxes is also going online and there will not be any onsite programme in Church with immediate effect. Starting this Sunday 25 Jul 2021, Silver Boxes will be moving to Zoom every Sunday at 11am (Except every 1st Sunday of the month). Our weekly lessons are still available online at bit.ly/SilverBoxesOnline.

We are a Family Blessed to Bless the Community and the Nations. As we go through the 40 Days of Blessing in these next few weeks of heightened restrictions, let us seek the Lord to enable us to think creatively and out of the box for new ways to bless others.

The WSCS gift distribution has been postponed till further notice.

We are observing Pledge Sunday on 1 Aug 2021. As we are unable to submit physical pledge cards this year, we have created an electronic pledge card so that we can still observe this very important aspect of our Worship to the Lord.

ADULT/YOUTH BAPTISM & MEMBERSHIP CLASS (BMC)

If you desire to be baptised, confirmed &/or transferred as a PLMC member, kindly register your interest via email to Andy at andy@plmc.org or call the Church Office at 6285 1234. A form will be sent to you accordingly. Your completed application form should reach us by 22 Aug 2021.

COMPULSORY:

1. Attend all the BMC Sessions on 4, 11 & 18 Sep, 2, 23 & 30 Oct 21 (10am to 12pm). You will be advised on the venue.

2. Participate in the Ministry Session assigned slot on 9 & 16 Oct – one will be conducted online (more will be said at the Class).

3. You will be assigned a PLMC Cell Group (if not already in one).

Combined Baptism Service: Sunday, 14 Nov 2021 (3pm)

Confirmation Service: Sunday, 21 Nov 2021 (During Worship Services)

INFANT & CHILD BAPTISM CLASS

COMPULSORY:

1. Attend the Infant/Child Baptism Class on Monday;  1 Nov 21, 7.30-9.30pm. You will be advised on the venue. 

2. One parent must have already been baptised or attending the present BMC.

Notice is hereby given that the 85th Annual General Meeting of Paya Lebar Methodist Church - Women’s Society of Christian Service has been called by the Executive Committee to be held wholly by way of electronic means on 14 August 2021 from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. This is in view of the continuing dangers posed by the infectious disease known as COVID-19 and the safe distancing restrictions in force in Singapore to minimise further spread.

The 85th WSCS AGM, will be held to transact the following business:

1. Receive the reports of the Executive Committee Officers

2. To adopt the Audited Treasurer’s Report

3. To elect the delegates and reserves at TRAC WSCS 46th AGM
