PRAYER FOCUS

OUTREACH

Praise And Give Thanks To The Lord

PLMC Family, let’s fix our eyes on our Almighty and All-powerful God who is able to do immeasurably above and beyond what we ask or think. Praise and exalt Him for He is our Sovereign God. Let us take our position, stand and see the deliverance of our Lord Jesus during this period. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love.

Special Prayer for PLMC Family and Beneficiaries during this season

  1. Pray for God's hand of favour to be over each person, especially the elderly at St Luke's Eldercare and Econ Home and the children at our Hope Student Care Centre and at the women’s shelter. Pray also for God to strengthen them physically, emotionally and spiritually.

  2. Pray for the Friends of Jesus, our homeless friends, who are living out in the streets. Pray for our Lord to shield and protect each of them.

  3. Pray for our migrant friends who stay in close proximity with many others at the workers’ dormitory. Pray for safety and protection over each individual.

  4. Pray for the PLMC family, our volunteers, for God to put a hedge of protection and covering to be upon each person as they serve in the different ministries.

  5. Pray for all our friends who have yet to know Christ to have a personal encounter with our Lord Jesus, that they will know that it is the One True God whom they have met. Claim the promise from Ezekiel 36:26,27 for all our friends whom we are ministering to and have ministered to. May God grant us a harvest so great that is beyond all that we ask or imagine.

  6. Pray for those whom we are discipling, for the Holy Spirit to help them understand and comprehend His truth, and in turn, to be able to live out the truth of our Lord in their lives. May they grow to be more and more like Jesus.

  7. May all whom we reach out to be transformed back to the image of God and be filled with the love of Christ till overflowing.

Partners and Agencies of Outreach Ministry

  1. Pray for PLMC’s partnerships with social agencies, VWOs, and other Christian organisations working to serve the communities within the 5km radius of our church. May God grant all our partners His wisdom and guidance as they take general precautionary measures against the virus at the various organisations.

  2. May we focus on Christ as the centre of our working relationships and build on each other’s gifts and strengths. May we glorify our Father through our unity and obedience together!

PLMC Family (Volunteers)

  1. Pray for a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit for all our volunteers, that He will ignite our hearts, stir us and move us more in serving the poor and needy, lonely, lost, helpless and weak in our midst and in the community where God has placed us.

  2. Ask the Lord to pour His wisdom & compassion into each of us as we befriend and journey with all the people in need.

  3. Pray also for volunteers to be tender-hearted to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit as we share God's love.

  4. Pray for the favour of God and Man to be upon the PLMC family as we serve in the various outreach arms.

  5. Surround our families with God’s love and pray for protection and good health over our families as we juggle between family, work and ministries.

Thank you for your partnership in prayer!

CARE & HEAL

PLMC INNER HEALING MINISTRY

The PLMC Inner Healing Ministry helps individuals get to the root of things that are hindering their personal connection with God. This Ministry continues online every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. Email requests to plihm@plmc.org

CARE HUB (English & Chinese)

Care Hub is formed to support and journey alongside our members / worshippers whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by this crisis. The end goal of Care Hub is pastoral care, for someone to journey with them and remind them they are beloved of God and to find strength in God to face the challenges.

As each individual has different needs, Care Hub serves as a one-stop helpline where an individual can obtain support in the church in various areas. If you have been affected by this crisis, Care Hub is here to support you.

Chinese version : MSCAREHUB.PLMC.ORG

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need to be a worshipper at PLMC to obtain help for Care Hub?

As long as you have been worshipping with us, either on-site or online, you are welcome to obtain help from Care Hub. We seek to journey with you as a family of faith during, and beyond, the COVID-19 period.

2. Is it compulsory for a Care Befriender to journey with me?

Yes, it is. We are not designed to journey alone. The church is the Body of Christ and each of us is a part of the body. Having a Care Befriender in this journey is to experience the community and interdependence of our Triune God. God is never alone; we need others too.

3. How long will the Care Befriender journey with me?

Each person has a different journey. Each journey is unique. In general, the Care Befriender will journey with you 3 – 6 months. Let these be a meaningful journey of deepening in God through the company of another.

4. Can I request for pastor to be my spiritual mentor/counsellor?

Yes, you can make the request, but we are all called to be a priesthood of believers hence most likely a mature believer will be assigned to journey with you. Trust that it is God’s hand that has led you thus far, and He will ensure that you are mentored or counselled by the right person with the necessary spiritual gifts for you.

5. I am not affected by COVID-19 but I need someone to talk to. Do I send my request through Care Hub?

No, Care Hub specifically caters to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications. Please contact the relevant ministry that caters to your need directly. Contact details can be found at the end of this site, under ‘Our Ministries’.

In the midst of the pandemic darkness, our Lord exhorts us to be the light of the world, so let us shine brighter for Him even as we know He is in control and over the pandemic.

1. Suspension of Onsite Worship Services
