Certification is the provision by an independent body of written assurance (a certificate) that the product, service or system in question meets specific requirements. Certification is also known as third party conformity assessment.

The purpose of the standard is to assist PCLU in meeting statutory and regulatory requirements relating to our products while achieving excellence in customer service and delivery. The standard can be used throughout our organisation to improve our performance.
