CyberPatriot

CyberPatriot is a national youth cyber education program created in the United States to help direct students toward careers in cybersecurity or other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The program was created by the Air Force Association (AFA). It features the annual National Youth Cyber Defense Competition for high school and middle school students.

The CyberPatriot team is all about cyber security, a growing field in today's society. They work to secure Virtual Machines (VMs) and practice extensively in Ubuntu and Windows Operating Systems, in which they earn points based on the security risks the team has fixed. Joining the team needs no prior cybersecurity knowledge, just basic computer navigation skills.
