This page displays the Plano East Panther Battalion Drill Team for the school year 2025-2026. The Drill Team is the most challenging team to strive on. With strict regulations, in accordance with TC 3-21.5, as well as difficult practices, this team is comprised of the best marching and drilling unit throughout the entire battalion. The Drill Team uses demilitarized M-1903 Springfield Rifles. There are three parts that the Drill Team practices for when they go to compete at Drill Meets: Inspection, where the team is inspected and graded in accordance with regulations AR 670-1 and CCR 145-2. Regulation Drill, which is a rigorous sequence provided by the school overseeing the meet, which is in accordance with TC 3-21.5. The last portion is Exhibition Drill, which is the most relaxed portion of Drill Team. For Exhibition, the team creates a freestyle sequence, which can compose of spins, ripple effects, and rifle tossing. There are two versions of drill team, armed and unarmed.
