We develop THz sources of strong, tunable in broad range pulsed THz radiation by employing hetero-structures of ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic and non-magnetic films and the physics of the spin Hall effect. We also use the property of inverse spin Hall effect in heterostructures of layers of ferromagnetic materials and non-ferromagnetic films to generate a powerful pulsed THz signal.
