Since the inception, the Physics Department is shaping and brightening the future of the younger generations via collective and interactive teaching- learning environments and time-honored pedagogy. Department is primarily engaged in teaching profession. I believe that Physics Department is one of the best nursery  platform for the our great scientific minds of outskirts.      

Academic Activities

•A lecture on Large Hadron Collider (LHC) by Dr. Venktesh Singh, BHU, Varanasi.

•A lecture series of two lectures on Life cycle of stars and Higgs Boson (God Particle) under breakthrough science society by M. N. Bera, HRI, Allahabad.

•A lecture on Black Hole by Dr. M. M. Verma, Lucknow University.

•An academic tour for M.Sc. (Final) students.

•National science day was celebrated on Feb 28, 2014.

Departmental Achievements

•1 Minor research project (Funded by UGC).

•Board of Studies/Research Development Committee: Currently three faculty members of the department, Dr. Ramji Pathak, Mrs. Abha Singh & Mr. Amit Srivastava are the members in Board of Studies of Purvanchal University.

•Mr. Amit Srivastava is a member in Board of Studies for Physics in Agrashen P.G. College (Autonomous), Varanasi.

•Dr. Ramji Pathak is the convenor of the Research Development Committee for Physics of Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

•Dr. Ramji Pathak is the member of B.Sc. (Math) admission committee of the college.

•Mrs. Abha Singh is a member of Gender Sensitization Committee Against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) of college.

•Dr. Sudesh Kumar Singh is Asst. Superintendent in College Examination Committee.
