When it comes to safely integrating ICT into schools, privacy is a very important aspect to consider. This is because the technology used will be full of infinite amounts of information and considering that these resources will be used by minors the information provided needs to be managed in such a way that it suits their age group but also provides them with correct and enough information.
Information gathered by the NSPCC shows that minor who are exposed to inappropriate information may experience feelings of confusion, uncertainty, shame, guilt, shock or even disgust. This is an especially detrimental occurrence for students because it will interfere with their studies.
Therefore, it is imperative that the resources offered to them have limited but useful information for them to use.
