Hi, my name is Philisile Mashele I am an undergraduate student studying to be teacher and ICT specialist at the university of Johannesburg. I am passionate about safely integrating ICT into education, this is because the world we are living in is slowly turning entirely digital and since ways are being found to integrate it into schools, I want to make sure that it is being done in a way that is safe for students and teachers.

Considering that we are living in a world that uses technology for almost everything , it seems appropriate that ways should be found to integrate ICT into education safely. ICT can enable teachers and students to have unlimited information in a matter of seconds but given that they use it wisely. There is a lot of bad information on the internet that is misinterpreted, therefore developing ways to detect what kind of information is use will be essential. Subscribing students to apps like news 24 can help them get accurate information.
