As we are living in the fourth industrial revolution it id important that we acquire the these skills which are communication and collaboration. These skills are just two of the four C's of the 21st century skills, the rest are creativity and critical thinking. All these skills go hand in hand when working with others. There is also another C, which is computational thinking that can come in handy when it comes to communication and collaboration but that is an explanation for another day.
Going into working these two C's into safely integrating ICT into education, ICT can help students communicate and collaborate more effectively together and also with the teacher. As majority of the world uses technology of practically everything that means we are all connected and communication is much easier.
Learners communicating and collaborating with the use of ICT makes teaching and learning more effective because each one of them has access to unlimited information and they can be creative with that as much as they possibly can and produce impressive ideas and concepts all on their own.
When it comes to teachers and other school board members using these skills through ICT makes it easier for them to communicate teaching strategies at any given time and enables them to support each other in the teaching process.
