There are currently 7 known species groups of Philippine Alocasias based on a taxonomic review by Medecilo and Madulid (2013). These species groups are namely:
• Odora
• Princeps
• Puber
The Alocasia genus is more than just their showy leaves and petioles. Go to the "Structure" page to take a closer look of their individual parts and be more familiar with their morphology.
Be familiar with the terms used in naming and describing the plants of this genus.
