Scouting For Faith Award

The Scouting for Faith Award was introduced by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Committee on Scouting in 2015. This award helps Scouts and Venturers explore their faith by learning about it and sharing it with others.

For youth, requirements include:

    1. Take a pilgrimage with a group of Scouts to two holy sites within the Archdiocese (Pilgrimage).

    2. Read and discuss selected Scripture passages (Knowledge).

    3. Attend a discernment retreat (Discernment).

    4. Bear witness to the gospel by teaching others about it (Evangelization).

Each section is represented by a patch segment. When the first segment is ordered, the awardee will also receive the center cross patch.
