The lan (wired) connections are assigned by the INFN section of Rome (sicr).
Prerequisites:
being in the department database
Information you have to provide:
The MAC address of the computer you want to connect
The number that labels the LAN socket you intend to use
Procedure:
Login to the support page of infn section ( INFN support )
Click on Richiesta indirizzo IP
Compile the request form
