Gender balance

The PhD students in Physics have formed a working group to support the work on gender balance in the Physics Department.

The goals of the working group are to collect statistics, discuss challenges and propose changes to improve the gender balance of the department.

We organize monthly meetings with researchers and professors in the Physics Department to exchange personal experiences and discuss suggestions to the Department. We publish news on our website https://sites.google.com/uniroma1.it/gender-and-diversity-physics/home.

I dottorandi e le dottorande in Fisica hanno fondato un gruppo di lavoro con lo scopo di supportare il Dipartimento di Fisica nella gestione della questione dell’equilibrio di genere.

Gli obiettivi del nostro gruppo di lavoro sono la raccolta di dati sull’equilibrio di genere, l’evidenziazione di criticità all’interno del dipartimento e la proposta di nuove attività di sensibilizzazione.

Mensilmente ci incontriamo con professoresse, professori, ricercatrici e ricercatori del dipartimento di fisica, sia per condividere esperienze che per discutere di proposte sulla questione dell’equilibrio genere. Le attività vengono pubblicate sul sito
