Everyone who is interested in special warfare should come out to learn. Learn how to properly train for the job instead of blindly hoping size works. The biggest stereotype is that all Special Warfare candidates are huge bodybuilders. The truth is the special warfare candidate is the complete athlete but at their core is an endurance athlete.
They are looking for th individual who always looks out for the team and makes sure they are performing and learning at the best of their ability. The individual who never quits, even when things get tough, and has the mental aptitude to lead men during the most stressful situations. Don't worry if you aren't huge your freshman year...believe in the process, follow the program and listen to your TL, and you will be ready by your junior and senior year.

The people in that room have the same desire and will to succeed. Congratulations! You just met your new training team, use them to keep you accountable. When you don't want to train, they will force you and vice versa. We function as a team...Not individuals.
