PHANGS - AstroSat Sample
The PHANGS-AstroSat Atlas of Nearby Star Forming Galaxies

PHANGS (Physics at High Angular resolution in Nearby GalaxieS)-AstroSat is a observation program of nearby galaxies, which has obtained UV maps for a sample of 31 spiral galaxies.

Background-subtracted, foreground-corrected maps of PHANGS-AstroSat galaxies are presented below in the FUV band (blue) and in any available NUV band (yellow), using an asinh brightness scale. We display a typical PSF FWHM (1.4") in the bottom left corner of each map as a red dot, and a physical scale marker of 1 kpc in the bottom right corner.
