Proposed new human research studies must undergo departmental/college scientific review by a research committee, chairperson, designee within the primary scientific discipline relevant to the research, or other institutionally recognized subcommittee or review group. Such review is to encompass scientific merit, available resources, and feasibility.
BIOSKETCH & CURRENT/PENDING SUPPORT FORMATTING
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has updated the format for Biosketch and Current/Pending Support documents. The links included here connect to the current NSF page with instructions and PDF templates. As the grant specialists for the College of Life Sciences, we are happy to help in transitioning your old documents to the new, required formats.
Further, we would encourage all faculty to begin using SciENcv for all NSF and NIH submissions. This service makes it incredibly easy to remain current with different formatting requirements and many federal agencies will soon begin using SciENcv as the only acceptable format for Biosketch and Current/Pending Support documents (NSF will transition exclusively to SciENcv in October 2023). If you need assistance uploading your CV to SciENcv, please let us know—we would be happy to help!
