When I think about the different aspects of the InTAST Standards that cover learners and Learning, I think of all the possibilities that my students could bring into my classroom one day. There are technical sides to this aspect of teaching, like learner development learning differences, and learning environments, but there are also aspects that you can only see in the eyes of the students. When you look into a learner's eyes, you can see all of the potential stored inside of them, and I aspire to turn as much of that potential into reality as possible. To do this, I have to understand how learning occurs, how learners construct knowledge, and how to develop disciplined thinking. In doing these things, I can best appeal to any style of learning. I believe that for a teacher to perform, they have to design, adapt, and deliver instruction to address each student's diverse learning strengths and needs and create opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning in different ways. However, even though students have many different learning styles, I believe that all learners can achieve at high levels, and I will persist in helping each student reach their full potential.

Also, as someone who will one day be a teacher, I hope to not only help the students in the best way possible but also make sure the parents are involved and satisfied. I hope to Interact with parents and local communities to identify resources that can be used to increase relevancy and learner engagement. Everything that I do will be centered around helping my students be the best versions of themselves that they possibly can be.

Teaching and Learning

This is a paper that I wrote for my Education Pedagogy I class in the Spring Semester of 2021. The focus of this paper is on the fundamentals of Learning Theory and some of the teaching strategies that come with that. It breaks down a few of the basic theories from Learning Theory and discusses some of my potential uses for these theories. This paper perked my interest because it made me realize how little I know about something that is essential to teaching.

Closing the Attitude Gap Synthesis Paper

Here is my "Closing the Attitude Gap Synthesis Paper" from my Education Pedagogy 2 class. It focuses on the teachings from the book Closing the Attitude Gap by Bartui Kaffle. The focus of this book is centered around the students and how to make them the best versions of themselves. I especially learned about building relationships with studnets and how important that is to our role as teachers. Also, something that I intend to physically add to my classroom is my mission statemtns for my students. Not only statements about my goals for their math knowledge, but my goals for getting them to be better young adults.

ISL5 - Final

ISL 5

This is a large student that I did during my student teaching a Penn High School. It focuses on one of my Geometry classes, but pays particular interest to three students. This student helped me focus on taking information that I gather from assessments and then apply what that information tells me. I was able to learn many things about the effectiveness of different forms of assessments from this study.
