Point Loma Actors Workshop is a performance-based acting company focused on the development of the individual actor. Beginners are encouraged to attend.

Hannah appeared in the Festival last year in David Wiener's An Honest Arrangement.

G. Lorenzo Crosby as Board Game Therapist

Roles include Deputy Governor Danforth in The Crucible; Barthomew in No Time for Christmas; Mr. Jenkins in Ceremonies in Dark Old Men; Mac Duff in Macbeth. He played to sold out audiences at The Point Loma Actors workshop performing in Polish Joke; Greater Tuna and has done commercials for Vatterot College and The San Diego Legal Referral Service.

Todd Butler as Steve

Butler returned to performing after a 35 year hiatus. He pursued various careers during that time - one was going back to school, getting his masters and becoming a psychotherapist. Todd has appeared with Point Loma Actors Workshop in productions of Polish Joke and Greater Tuna. He looks forward to continuing his acting career well into old age (which is soon!).  Butler appeared in the New Perspective Festival last year opposite director Hannah Ryan in An Honest Arrangement.

Samantha Goldstein as Laura

Samantha Goldstein is making her New Perspective Festival debut in Don’t Play Games With Me, and performing for the third time with the Point Loma Actors Workshop.  She enjoys writing, teaching and dancing, and wishes she were better at Scrabble.

Eva Risman as JennieEva recently appeared in the Point Loma Workshop's production Woman; sometimes a word unspoken, a scene selection of several plays by Ibsen, Chekhov and Strindberg, directed by John Cochran. Earlier productions include Romantic Fools, Gelähmte Schwingen, Die Reise nach Walla Kristalla and the musical Little Shop of Horrors.

Matt Thompson, PlaywrightMatt's full length play, The Wondering Jew, was presented at the San Diego Rep's Jewish Arts Festival 2008.  His The Triangle Tragedy was presented during Compass Theatre’s Resilience of the Spirit Festival 2008.  His plays have been published through Dramatic, Heuer, and Brooklyn Publishing.  His latest work, Who's Afraid of Me, Myself and Edward Albee?, was recently staged as a reading at North Coast Repertory Theatre. Mr. Thompson has been working with Edward Albee on the development of this piece.
