Just listening in on a conversation between Level 5 and SCP-049 concerning the rot. All of my Operatives were there at the time, and it was made very clear that the subject being a sensitive topic would result in all of us being amnesticized. From the beginning of the conversation, I was frustrated with the idea of that although I kept it to myself. A Medic ended up eavesdropping, we had to detain him and wait to amnesticize him as well. As the conversation continued, I began to feel concerned. SCP-049 mentioned some serious shit, and although 'V' reassured me later that SCP-049 was incorrect... I find it hard to believe him. Why would the rot be locked behind Level 5 Clearance, what about it is so confidential? I understand it speeds up the process of decay, that much was mentioned in 'Poppy's debrief that happened months ago. But there has to be more to it; what is the rot doing?
