AUDITORIUM RULES

• NO eating

• NO drinking

• NO smoking

• Dancers are to arrive 2 hours prior to your report backstage time, and check in with your corresponding teachers!

• Performance ready is full hair and makeup and in costume ready to go. We need all students ready early so we can have time to rehearse.

• Please be considerate of the teachers schedule and other dancers which is why 2 hours ahead is necessary.

• Competitions can run up to an hour early.

• Students and parents must respect other students space and property in the dressing rooms.

• The students will spend more time in the dressing room than onstage, so please do your best to keep them organized and clean.

• We suggest that students pack clear liquids to drink. Please do not send juice boxes or other sticky beverages. Also, please pack snacks that are not messy and will not ruin costumes. Pack items such as crackers, energy bars, apples, carrot sticks, or string cheese. Due to high number of peanut & tree nut allergies, please do not pack ANY nuts.

• Men are not allowed in the dressing rooms as the dancers will be changing and need their privacy.

• Use of cameras, computers, laptops, cell phones, iPads, tape recorders, or any other type of device during performances is strictly prohibited and may result in point deduction, disqualification of the routine, or disqualification of the studio. Use of cameras and videos, including flash photography, is welcomed during award ceremonies. The studio is responsible for notifying all students, parents, and other participants of these rules and restrictions in writing prior to the event.

• Most of the competitions we attend provide free photos and videos post event.

• Clap during and after numbers

• Use the restroom between numbers, not during a performance (You could be standing up in front of a parent whose child is performing).

• Do not re-enter the auditorium during a performance. Enter once the number is over.
