Each dancer needs to pay attention when hair needs to be redone or makeup needs to be touched up. It is important to present ourselves 10% before we even start to dance. Dancers and parents are also expected to have costumes presentable condition. Ironed, mended, clean, no holes in tights or shoes, etc...
Please see Costume Checklist page &/or scan the QR code on your dancers garment bag for your individual class hair styles.
Fly away hairs should be gelled down and smoothed out with hairspray.
Please use bobby pins and a hair net for ballet buns.
At IPAC, we want kids to be kids, so please refrain from applying heavy make-up – a little blush and clear/light pink lip gloss is plenty.
Dancers are welcome to wear makeup as long as it looks natural to them. Many dancers use makeup as a tool to compliment their facial expressions when performing as sometimes the harsh stage lights can wash the dancers apperance out.
