Competition Q&A

When will we receive our competition schedule?

Competitions will email out the schedule 1 week prior to the event. We know that lives are full so as soon as the schedule is in our inbox, we will send it right out to you! 

Do we need to purchase tickets to the competition?

Everyone is able to attend the competition for FREE to watch the performances throughout the weekend. Sometime's there are streaming links to share with families who cannot attend live.

Award Ceremonies

Award ceremonies are a fun and exciting experience.  Each team proudly represented their studio in their IPAC gear and will sit together as a team on stage. As an IPAC Community, we recognize EVERYONE’S achievements, not just our own.  Please stand for your overall high score. 

Award Etiquette

Dancers should refrain from using their cell phones onstage during the award ceremony.  Enjoy the full experience and be in the moment! It is required that dancers wear their IPAC jacket and IPAC apparel on stage. We are representing our studio.

Great sportsmanship and genuine appreciation for all the other studios and teams represented is so important to the culture of who we are and what we are instilling in our students at IPAC. Be inclusive and friendly to all dancers on-stage, invite them to sit with you if there’s only a couple dancers from another studio onstage. Dancers are to stand and clap for all 1st overall high scores.

Where will me meet the IPAC Team 

Dressing rooms are usually one large room for all studios and dancers. First dancer to arrive will start an IPAC spot in the dressing room for everyone to meet and get ready! The IPAC Team will have a specific meeting spot 1 hour prior to the performance times to stretch together and run through dances - watch for this when the schedule is released. Sometimes competitions will schedule us in a specific spot. If this is the case, they will post signs to follow at the venue.
