No one Christian, especially Orthodox, can realize the locations of error in ecclesial life without having a real reference, and an unambiguous sources.

لا يمكن لاي شخص مسيحي، ارثوذكسي على وجه الخصوص، ان يدرك مواقع الخطأ في الحياة الكنسية من دون ان يكون لديه مرجع حقيقي، غير مشكوك به لا يوجد فيه اي لبس.

على الرغم من الاسقف في الحياة الكنسية، يعتبر المعلم و المشرف على تعليم الرعية، و المشرف على ما يعلمه الكهنة

لكن الشعب، بحاجة ان يستندوا الى المصادر الصحيحة التي تؤكد صحة التعليم الرسولي

ان الاكليروس بما فيهم الاساقفة، هم بشر، اي معرضين للسقوط في التجارب، و لكن عندما يسقط احدهم في تجربة، فانه يسحب معه الكثير من الشعب، لانه هو المعلم

لهذا السبب، كان لابد من وجود المصدر، و هو ما حصل عندم كتب البذاليون، الذي يحوي قوانين الكنيسة المقدسة ، من قوانين الرسل الى قوانين المجامع المسكونية السبعة، و بعض من المجامع المحلية، التي كلها تعتبر المصدر الوحيد للحياة الكنسية، ليس فقط ضمن الحياة الليتورجية، بل في حياة الانسان المسيحي على كل الاصعدة

لهذا سمي البيذاليون بانه دفة السفينة التي تقود حياة الفرد و المجتمع المسيحي و الكنيسة
